CentrePoint Software has a long history of helping Charities with their accounting challenges and for 4 years has been the preferred Sage supplier of the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). We have provided Sage accounting solutions to hundreds of charities and not-for-profit organisations.
Improvements have been made to Sage 50 Accounts specifically for charities and charity accounting. By using Sage 50 Accounts for Charities you will be able to provide important analysis to trustees and donors throughout the year, not just at year end. Helping you improve the financial reporting of your charity and freeing your time to concentrate on your charitable activities.
Fund Analysis:
Multiple Funds, Types of Funds, Activities by Funds, Transfers between Funds.
Statement of Financial Activities (SoFA):
All income and expenditure nominal codes can be allocated to SoFA categories for reporting by fund type.
Projects:
Sage Line 50 Accountant Plus allows “projects” or “events” to be created so that you can record income and expenditure to them. This allows you to report easily on the success / failure of projects and activity type with budgets.
Departmental Budgeting:
Sage Line 50 now allows you to set budgets against nominal codes and budgets
Centralisation of Data:
Using Sage Line 50 allows you to store details of all donors, funding bodies in one place and attach files / photos / evidence to those records. You can also attach excel / word / image files to nominal codes to back up assets and expenditure.
Gift Aid and R68 report:
Sage Line 50 now allows you to print a gift aid declaration letter for your donors and record the date that the declaration was signed. The R68 report can then be run at the end of the period which calculates the total Gift Aid that can be claimed.
Diary:
Manage your accounting tasks in the new Sage diary and hold multiple contacts per funder/customer.
